Cookies and Tracking Policy – Users
General
The Shushu Pro portal uses cookies and measurement tools: an essential login cookie, a product-analytics tool and advertising-measurement tools. This page explains which tools we use, for what, and who receives the information.
Essential tools (required to run the service)
After you log in, the service stores a session login cookie that keeps you logged in and secures your account. Without it the service cannot be used, so it is always active. Your choice in the cookie notice is also stored in your browser, so we do not ask again.
Analytics tool
We use PostHog to understand how the service is used and to improve it. The tool collects usage data and actions in the interface (such as viewing pages, creating a search profile or viewing a match) associated with the identified user account. Because this data is associated with an identified user, we spell it out here explicitly. Before you register, and unless you consent to analytics tools in the cookie notice — whether you have not chosen yet or have declined — we measure only an anonymous count of page views and registration steps: no cookie is stored in your browser, nothing is written to local storage, no visitor identifier is created and no profile is built — PostHog's servers derive a short-lived anonymous value from technical request data (such as your IP address and browser type) that is not stored on your device and cannot identify you, and the figures are used in aggregate only. The information is provided to PostHog, which processes it on our behalf, and its processing or storage may take place outside Israel, including in the United States.
Marketing tools
We use Meta's advertising tools to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to tailor the ads we show. The measurement is carried out from our servers, not through Meta code in your browser. As part of this, usage data may be transferred to Meta, and identifying details are transferred in hashed form only. Processing may take place outside Israel, including in the United States. This measurement takes place only if you consented to marketing tools in the cookie notice.
Managing your preferences
The analytics and marketing tools are not essential to operating the service. The marketing tools do not run in your browser until you consent to them, and without analytics consent the analytics tool runs only in the anonymous measurement described under "Analytics tool", which stores nothing in your browser and creates no identifier — you can accept or decline each type separately. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the portal, or by contacting us at the email address listed in the privacy policy — without affecting your ability to use the service. The essential login cookie always remains active, as the service cannot be used without it.
Information sharing
We do not sell personal information and we do not share the contents of your account with advertisers. PostHog processes analytics data on our behalf only, and Meta receives advertising-measurement data as described above. Each provider retains the information in accordance with its own retention policy.
